It also gives info. on who his parents were.John and his wife Mary moved from Shenandoah Co., Virginia and settled in Greene Co., Tennesse on Plum Creek, a branch of Lick Creek. Plum Creek is located abt. 8 miles north of Greenville, TN. Around 1827, they, and most of their family moved to Clay Co., Indiana.
