49. John Harrison⁵ Nees (Adam⁴ Neese, John³, John "Owldrick"² Nasse, Mathias Sr.¹ Nehs)⁽⁴⁴⁾ was born in Jackson Twp, Owen, IN, US September 10, 1836. John died March 9, 1919 at 82 years of age. His body was interred in Gummere Cem, Clay, IN, US.

He married twice. He married Lucinda Jordan. Lucinda was born in Morgan Twp, Owen, IN, US. He married Nancy J Gard October 23, 1864. Nancy was born in Cory, Clay, IN, US March 6, 1846. Nancy died March 2, 1902 at 55 years of age.

John Harrison Nees and Nancy J Gard had the following children:

+ 113 xi. Alonzo B "Lon" Nees was born March 10, 1876.
