693. Joseph⁶ Widener (Hannah⁵ Thomas, Jemima Elizabeth⁴, Lewis³, Lewis², Reuben¹) was born June 23, 1900. Joseph died November 22, 1933 at 33 years of age.

He married Betty Stroup June 25, 1924. Betty was born September 3, 1903. Betty(1037) was the daughter of James Edward "Jim" Stroup and Lula Virginia Fern. Betty died March 29, 1979 at 75 years of age.

Joseph Widener and Betty Stroup had the following children:

+ 1290 i. Lavina "Bill"⁷ Widener.

+ 1291 ii. Bertha M Widener (still alive).

+ 1292 iii. Lucille Virginia Widener was born January 4, 1929.

+ 1293 iv. Milton Widener Sr. was born November 10, 1931.
