Albert died April 29, 1981 in Gridley, Butte, California, at 76 years of age. His body was interred April 29, 1981 in Gridley, Butte, California, Gridley Cem.

He married Della May Arnold in Vining, Grant, OK, March 2, 1927. Della was born in Florence, Grant, OK, US July 10, 1908/1909. (Additional notes for Della May Arnold(1405)) Della died December 17, 1964 in Gridley, CA, US, at 55 years of age.

Albert James Thomas and Della May Arnold had the following children:
