He married Hannah Stuthard. Hannah was born in Grayson, VA, US about 1770. Hannah was the daughter of Stuthard. Hannah died October 1842 in NC, US, at 72 years of age.

Richard Puckett and Hannah Stuthard had the following children:

72 ix. Phebe Puckett⁽¹¹⁾.

+ 74 xi. Joseph Puckett was born May 22, 1804.

+ 75 xii. Elihu Puckett was born August 5, 1809.
