She married Robert Franklin Dobson May 28, 1921. Robert was born in Newport News, VA, US January 6, 1901. Robert was the son of John William Dobson and Hattie William Hundley. Robert died August 29, 1973 in Danville, VA, US, at 72 years of age.

Lucy Ann Widener and Robert Franklin Dobson had the following children:
