33. Rachel E⁴ Thomas (Catherine³ Hand, James², James¹)⁽⁴⁸⁾ was born in Washington, VA, US 1854. Rachel died after 1860.

She married William B Widener January 18, 1872. William was born in VA, US June 28, 1841. William(49) was the son of John F Widener and Francis "Frankie" Blevins. William died April 19, 1884 in Abington, Washington, VA, US, at 42 years of age. His body was interred in Montgomery Cem.

Rachel E Thomas and William B Widener had the following children:

46 i. Lucy⁵ Widener⁽⁵⁰⁾. She married Dewey Denton. Dewey was born 1898. Dewey(51) was the son of John Leander Denton. Dewey died 1920 at 22 years of age.

+ 47 ii. Samuel Robert Widener was born May 1873.

48 iii. Martha A "Matt" Widener⁽⁵²⁾ was born about 1876.

49 iv. John Fulton "Fult" Widener⁽⁵³⁾ was born about 1879. He married Pearl Chapman.

+ 50 v. Isaac William Widener was born August 21, 1882.
