He married Rachel Emily Bishop in Washington, Va, Us, September 8, 1876. Rachel was born in Smyth, Va, Us January 2, 1838. Rachel died May 10, 1914 at 76 years of age. Her body was interred in Rush Creek Primi, Washington, Va, Us.

+ 3 ii. Ricely Defriece was born November 12, 1845.

4 iii. A J Defriece⁽³⁾ was born in Grayson, Va, Us about 1850. A died after 1874. He married Lettie L Barker in Washington, Va, Us, May 15, 1874. Lettie was born in Washington, Va, Us about 1853. Lettie died after 1874.

+ 5 iv. William R Defriece was born April 15, 1853.

6 v. H C Defriece⁽⁴⁾ was born in Grayson, Va, Us about 1854. H died after 1880. He married M C Wolf in Washington, Va, Us, May 6, 1880. M was born in Washington, Va, Us about 1858. M died after 1880.
