200. John Poindexter⁷ Thomasson (John⁶, Samuel⁵, Samuel⁴, Thomas³, George², George¹) was born January 31, 1787. John died January 31, 1867 in Spencer, WV, US, at 80 years of age.

He married Nancy Hancock in Louisa, VA, US, September 20, 1806. Nancy was born in Louisa, VA, US November 3, 1783. Nancy died November 1870 in Roane, WV, US, at 87 years of age.

John Poindexter Thomasson and Nancy Hancock had the following children:

463 i. Anna Hancock⁸ Thomasson was born November 10, 112. Anna died July 2, 1890 in Roane, WV, US, at 1777 years of age. She married James Ellison Burdette in Jackson, VA, US, January 4, 1838.

464 ii. Austin Hancock Thomasson was born in Louisa, VA, US June 19, 1809. Austin died November 8, 1880 at 71 years of age. He married Nancy Crew in Stark, NC, US, December 1, 1835.

465 iii. Elizabeth Thomasson was born February 22, 1811. She married George Washington Soper in Greenbrier, VA, US, June 4, 1829.

466 iv. Mary Louisa Thomasson was born July 4, 1814. Mary died June 2, 1834 in Roane, WV, US, at 19 years of age.

467 v. Mordecai James Thomasson was born June 8, 1817. Mordecai died January 22, 1867 in Roane, WV, US, at 49 years of age. He married Margaret Susan Rader in Jackson, VA, US, January 21, 1841.

468 vi. Pleasant Hites Thomasson was born in Pendleton, VA, US March 19, 1819. Pleasant died in Greenbrier, WV, US. He married Emily Jane Rader December 23, 1842.

469 vii. James Edmond Thomasson was born September 23, 1821. James died January 10, 1881 in Roane, WV, US, at 59 years of age. He married Mary J Burdette in Jackson, VA, US, November 6, 1842.

470 viii. Martha Ellen Thomasson was born June 8, 1830. Martha died January 10, 1881 at 50 years of age.

471 ix. Joseph Poindexter Thomasson was born November 12, 1834.
