He married Martha Clay Johnson December 10, 1808. Martha was born about 1790. (Additional notes for Martha Clay Johnson(291)) Martha died 1850 in Daviess, KY, US, at 60 years of age.

Nelson Thomasson and Martha Clay Johnson had the following children:

359 i. Mary Ann⁷ Thomasson.

360 ii. Milly Archer Thomasson.

361 iii. Martha Clay Thomasson. She married Boehme.

362 iv. Frances B Thomasson was born January 28, 1813. Frances died March 27, 1883 in Ohio, KY, US, at 70 years of age. She married James May in Rockport, IN, US, 1831.

363 v. James G Thomasson was born in Granville, NC, US 1817. He married Mary Ashby. Mary was born in NC, US 1820.

364 vi. Paschal J Thomasson was born May 24, 1821. Paschal died November 4, 1854 at 33 years of age. His body was interred in Red Hill Ch Cem, Daviess, KY, US.

365 vii. William H Thomasson was born February 10, 1827. William died May 9, 1911 at 84 years of age.

366 viii. Nelson Thomasson Jr. was born January 18, 1831. Nelson died December 2, 1906 in Waco, TX, US, at 75 years of age. He married Mary Owen in KY, US, January 12, 1854.
