Georgia Lucille Miller Mountain, 81, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, in Smyth County Community Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward William Mountain; her parents, Luther and Sarah Elizabeth Crabtree Miller; one son, Joe Maiden Mountain; two brothers, Paul Miller and Ira Miller; two sisters, India Quillen and Susie Hodges.
She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, William Edward and Adenia Mountain of Sylvania, Ohio; two daughters and a son-in-law, Rebecca and Leonard Davis of Piney Flats, Tenn., and Doris Mountain of Jacksonville, Fla.; one daughter-in-law, Beverly W. Mountain of Chilhowie; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were conducted Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003, in the Mount Olivet Cemetery with Dr. Jack Garland and the Rev. David Sizemore officiating.
Williams Funeral Home in Chilhowie was in charge of arrangements.
