Obituary
Rhonda Michelle Thomas, age 23, of Chilhowie, died Tuesday, March 9, 1999 at the Medical College of Virginia. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Courtney A. Thomas, Chilhowie; her parents, Betty and Roy Thomas Jr., Chilhowie; three sisters, Mrs. Sam "Deena" Barron, Kimberly Lynn Thomas, both of Chilhowie, and Janet L. Thomas, Glade Spring; paternal grandparents, Lucille and Roy C. Thomas Sr., Glade Spring; her fianc‚‚, Daniel W. Eastridge, Saltville; a niece, Stacy Barron; a special friend, Christy Watson Adams.
Funeral services will be conducted today, March 13, at 2 p.m. at Newberry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roger Boyer and the Rev. Tommy Tester officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Leukemia Society of America, dial 1-800-955-4LSA.
