Russell C. McCall, 72, of Mecca died at 8:42 a.m. Friday, April 7, 2000, in Clinton Nursing Home. He was born February 14, 1928, in Carbon to Clayton McCall and Ethel Elizabeth Sutherland McCall. Survivors include his wife, Mary Joan Thomas McCall; one son, Jeff McCall; five daughters, Linda McCall, Peggy Stonebraker, Patsy DalSasso, Arlette Newlin and Debbie Allen; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services are 3 p.m. Monday in Gooch Funeral Home in Rockville, with the Rev. Paul Ellis officiating. Burial is in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Marshall, Ind., with graveside military rites.
