18. James Andrew³ Mock (Lewis², Peter¹)⁽⁵⁰⁾ was born in Surry, NC, US April 18, 1835. James died December 4, 1910 at 75 years of age.

He married Jane Appeline Allen November 20, 1819. Jane was born January 29, 1840. (Additional notes for Jane Appeline Allen(51)) Jane died February 11, 1900 at 60 years of age.

James Andrew Mock and Jane Appeline Allen had the following children:

52 i. Sylvester Russell⁴ Mock⁽⁵²⁾ was born March 6, 1862. Sylvester died July 13, 1951 at 89 years of age. He married Susan Isabel Harris. Susan was born January 8, 1860. (Additional notes for Susan Isabel Harris(53)) Susan died May 12, 1910 at 50 years of age.

53 ii. Mary Geneva Mock⁽⁵⁴⁾ was born May 11, 1863. She married Thomas Wilkinson Clark. Thomas was born September 16, 1850. (Additional notes for Thomas Wilkinson Clark(55)) Thomas died July 18, 1907 at 56 years of age.

She was christened in 5 jun 1952.

54 iii. William Daniel Mock⁽⁵⁶⁾ was born February 28, 1867. William died December 31, 1934 at 67 years of age.

55 iv. Margaret B Mock⁽⁵⁷⁾ was born March 30, 1869. Margaret died September 21, 1901 at 32 years of age. She married Samuel W DeBusk April 2, 1890. Samuel was born September 8, 1851. (Additional notes for Samuel W DeBusk(58)) Samuel died July 26, 1901 at 49 years of age.

56 v. Martha A Mock⁽⁵⁹⁾ was born July 15, 1871. Martha died July 20, 1871 at less than one year of age.

57 vi. Sophronia Anne Mock⁽⁶⁰⁾ was born June 18, 1872. Sophronia died May 12, 1935 at 62 years of age.

58 vii. Emma Jane Mock⁽⁶¹⁾ was born February 1, 1876. Emma died December 31, 1921 at 45 years of age.

+ 59 viii. Matthew Floyd Mock Sr. was born March 1, 1880.

60 ix. James H Pruner Mock⁽⁶²⁾ was born May 30, 1883. James died December 21, 1886 at 3 years of age.
