74. Henry Clay⁴ Thomas (Edward "Edmond"³, John², Reuben¹)⁽²⁶⁰⁾ was born in Washington, VA, US about August 1845. Henry died December 17, 1889 in Parke, IN, US, at less than one year of age. His body was interred in Bethany Cemetery, Parke, IN, US.

He married twice. He married Narcissa Jane Heslar in Parke, IN, US, April 30, 1868. Narcissa was born in Judson, Parke, IN, US January 8, 1843. Narcissa(261) was the daughter of David Heslar and Jane Hutton. Narcissa died August 7, 1882 in Parke, IN, US, at 39 years of age. Her body was interred in Bethany Cem., Parke, IN, US. He married Rachel Florence Purcell June 4, 1885. Rachel(262) is the daughter of William Purcell and Margaret Faith Hunter.

He was christened about August 1845.

282 iv. Martha Jane Thomas was born February 6, 1872. Martha died April 5, 1872 at less than one year of age.

+ 283 v. James Edward Thomas was born May 25, 1873.

284 vi. Charles Nelson Thomas was born in Judson, Parke, IN, US February 26, 1876. Charles died September 7, 1876 at less than one year of age.

+ 285 vii. John William Thomas was born February 21, 1879.

286 viii. Otto Thomas was born in Judson, Parke, IN, US November 16, 1880. Otto died November 1, 1966 at 85 years of age.

Henry Clay Thomas and Rachel Florence Purcell had the following children:
