He married Ethel Smith 1901.

Prentiss Mace and Ethel Smith had the following children:

250 i. Marguerite⁷ Mace. Marguerite died 1965.

251 ii. Gerald H Mace was born in Brazil, Clay, IN, US October 22, 1922. Gerald died about July 12, 1978 in Brazil, Clay, IN, US, at approximately 55 years of age. He married Edna Bridgewater. Edna died before 1978.
