4. George⁴ Emmet (Elenore³ Wimmer, Jemima² Laboyteaux, Peter¹) was born in OH, US September 5, 1809. George died March 17, 1861 in West Point Twp, Lee, IA, US, at 51 years of age.

He married Nancy Dukes in Henry, IN, US, October 18, 1832. Nancy was born in NC, US September 1, 1810. Nancy was the daughter of John Dukes and Pheriby. Nancy died March 7, 1862 in Lee, IA, US, at 51 years of age.

George Emmet and Nancy Dukes had the following children:

5 i. Wesley N⁵ Emmett was born 1831.

+ 6 ii. Elizabeth Emmett was born August 6, 1833.

7 iii. Kisiah Emmett was born 1836.

8 iv. John Emmett was born 1837.

9 v. Eliza Emmett was born 1840.

10 vi. George Emmett was born in West Point Twp, Lee, IA, US 1842. He married Ruth Ann Judy in Ft. Madison, Lee, IA, US, October 18, 1864.

11 vii. Sarah L Emmett was born in West Point Twp, Lee, IA, US 1847.
