22. William Alexander⁴ Hand (John L³, James², James¹)⁽³⁸⁾ was born in Washington, VA, US July 19, 1835. William died October 27, 1911 in Washington, VA, US, at 76 years of age.

He married Armaminta "Minnie" Naff March 17, 1845. Armaminta was born May 6, 1845. (Additional notes for Armaminta "Minnie" Naff(39)) Armaminta died December 5, 1916 at 71 years of age. Her body was interred in Washington, VA, US.

William Alexander Hand and Armaminta "Minnie" Naff had the following children:

+ 38 i. Charles Campbell⁵ Hand was born July 28, 1870.

+ 39 ii. Henry Franklin Hand was born November 25, 1871.

40 iii. Phillip Gustavus Hand⁽⁴⁰⁾ was born in Washington, VA, US May 5, 1873. Phillip died October 24, 1941 at 68 years of age. His body was interred in Washington, VA, US. He married Minnie Vestal.
