He married Josephine Charity Augusta Prather in Tazewell, VA, US, September 18, 1873. Josephine was born in Wilkes, NC, US November 27, 1848. (Additional notes for Josephine Charity Augusta Prather(61)) Josephine died May 2, 1888 in Abingdon, Washington, VA, US, at 39 years of age. Her body was interred in Sinking Springs, Washington, VA, US.

+ 52 vi. William Absalom Ireson was born March 19, 1886.
