16. Emmett Lewis⁷ Trent Sr. (Mary Josephine⁶ Cornett, John Madison⁵, Hiram W⁴, William³, David², John¹)⁽¹⁴⁾ was born in Damascus, Washington, VA, US July 21, 1890. Emmett died after 1900.

He married twice. He married Jennie Caroline Rosenbaum. Jennie was born about 1884. (Additional notes for Jennie Caroline Rosenbaum(15)) Jennie died about 1916. He married Della Maxwell.

Emmett Lewis Trent Sr. and Jennie Caroline Rosenbaum had the following children:

+ 51 i. Nellie Irene⁸ Trent.

+ 52 ii. Emmett Lewis Trent Jr. was born 1916.

+ 53 iii. Mary Lou Trent was born 1916.

+ 54 iv. Martha Lee Trent was born 1916.

Emmett Lewis Trent Sr. and Della Maxwell had the following children:

+ 55 v. Earl Preston Trent.

+ 56 vi. Helen Virginia Trent was born February 15, 1929.

+ 57 vii. Carolyn Viola Trent was born May 17, 1936.

+ 58 viii. William Joe Trent was born July 15, 1941.

59 ix. Robert Lewis "Jack" Trent was born May 6, 1942. He married Mazy Sikes.
