32. Joseph⁵ Cole Sr. (Hugh⁴, Hugh³, Hugh², James¹)⁽³⁶⁾ was born in Swansea, MS, US May 3, 1716. Joseph died before April 22, 1785 in Washington, VA, US, at approximately 68 years of age.

He married Freelove Mason. Freelove was born November 11, 1720. (Additional notes for Freelove Mason(37)) Freelove died 1792 in Washington, VA, US, at 71 years of age.

Joseph Cole Sr. and Freelove Mason had the following children:

33 i. Hannah⁶ Cole⁽³⁸⁾.

34 ii. Elizabeth Cole⁽³⁹⁾ was born July 16, 1739.

35 iii. Joanna Cole⁽⁴⁰⁾ was born 1742. Joanna died 1757 at 15 years of age.

+ 36 iv. Hugh Cole Sr. was born March 14, 1744.

+ 37 v. Joseph Cole Jr. was born March 22, 1744.

38 vi. Urania Cole⁽⁴¹⁾ was born February 27, 1746. Urania died June 5, 1828 in VT, US, at 82 years of age.

+ 39 vii. Zachariah Cole was born about 1748.

+ 40 viii. Sampson Cole was born March 7, 1750.
