37. Joseph⁶ Cole Jr. (Joseph⁵, Hugh⁴, Hugh³, Hugh², James¹)⁽⁴⁴⁾ was born in Swansea, Bristol, Ma, US March 22, 1744. Joseph died September 2, 1826 in Washington, VA, US, at 82 years of age.

He married twice. He married Margaret Leeper. He married Remember Cole in Ulster, NY, US, about 1769. Remember was born in Ulster, NY, US 1752. (Additional notes for Remember Cole(45)) Remember died after 1775 in VA, US.

Joseph Cole Jr. and Margaret Leeper had the following children:

42 i. Raney⁷ Cole. She married Elias Stalcup.

43 ii. Samuel Cole⁽⁴⁶⁾ was born in Washington, VA, US 1777. Samuel died after 1792. He married Mary Stalcup.

+ 44 iii. Ann Cole was born 1779.

45 iv. Andrew Cole⁽⁴⁷⁾ was born in Washington, VA, US 1780. He married Priscilla Woolsey 1807. Priscilla was born 1780.

+ 46 v. James "Squire" Cole was born 1781.

+ 47 vi. Remember Cole was born 1790.

48 vii. Jane Cole was born in Washington, VA, US 1797. She married Joseph John 1797.

49 viii. Elizabeth Cole was born in Washington, VA, US 1804. She married John Williams 1804.

Joseph Cole Jr. and Remember Cole had the following children:

+ 50 ix. John Cole was born December 25, 1771.

+ 51 x. Freelove Cole was born December 24, 1773.

+ 52 xi. Joseph Cole III was born about 1775.
