7. Jacob Leander³ Claman (Jacob², Jonathan¹ Clayman)⁽¹¹⁾ was born January 21, 1818. Jacob died May 29, 1898 at 80 years of age.

He married Rebecca Barker. Rebecca was born January 25, 1821. Rebecca(12) was the daughter of Joseph Gaddy Barker Rev. and Ellender Vicars. Rebecca died April 10, 1905 at 84 years of age.

Jacob Leander Claman and Rebecca Barker had the following children:

11 iv. Sarah M Claman⁽¹⁸⁾ was born in Washington, VA, US 1855. She married Young Hutton. (Additional notes for Young Hutton(19))

12 v. Lewis S Claman⁽²⁰⁾ was born in Washington, VA, US January 25, 1858. Lewis died February 26, 1946 at 88 years of age. He married Nanny Fawbush. (Additional notes for Nanny Fawbush(21))

13 vi. William Columbus Claman⁽²²⁾ was born in Hawkins, TN, US July 15, 1860. William died April 25, 1882 at 21 years of age. He married Margaret Helton. (Additional notes for Margaret Helton(23))

14 vii. Frank Cain Claman⁽²⁴⁾ was born in Hawkins, TN, US 1863. Frank died 1941 at 78 years of age. He married Margaret. (Additional notes for Margaret(25))

15 viii. James A C Claman⁽²⁶⁾ was born in Hawkins, TN, US December 13, 1864. James died February 11, 1884 at 19 years of age.
