He married Elizabeth Turner in Cartersville, Tishomingo, MISSISS, US, December 18, 1850. Elizabeth was born in Smith, TN, US January 29, 1829. (Additional notes for Elizabeth Turner(40))

Edward Ward Carmack Prof. and Elizabeth Turner had the following children:

29 i. Mary Louisa⁶ Carmack⁽⁴¹⁾ was born March 18, 1852. Mary died June 10, 1937 at 85 years of age.

30 ii. Franc Turner Carmack Dr.⁽⁴²⁾ was born November 2, 1854. Franc died May 1927 at 72 years of age.

31 iii. Nancy Kate Carmack⁽⁴³⁾ was born in Jacinto August 24, 1857. Nancy died March 1921 in Booneville, Prentiss, MISSISS, US, at 63 years of age.

+ 32 iv. John Cornelius Breckenridge Carmack was born October 31, 1860.

33 v. Susan Patience Carmack⁽⁴⁴⁾ was born April 17, 1864. Susan died June 11, 1923 at 59 years of age.

34 vi. Edward William Carmack⁽⁴⁵⁾ was born February 20, 1867. Edward died December 6, 1936 at 69 years of age.

35 vii. Martha Rives Carmack⁽⁴⁶⁾ was born January 30, 1870.

36 viii. Elizabeth "Bette" Carmack⁽⁴⁷⁾ was born September 25, 1874. Elizabeth died May 11, 1951 at 76 years of age.
