He married Fannie Mason. Fannie was born 1859. (Additional notes for Fannie Mason(136))

William Byars Earnest and Fannie Mason had the following children:

106 i. Bessie Byars⁶ Earnest⁽¹³⁷⁾ was born 1880. Bessie died 1880 at less than one year of age. Her body was interred in Old Glade Spring.

108 iii. Henry Mason Earnest⁽¹³⁸⁾ was born 1883.

109 iv. Lulee J Earnest⁽¹³⁹⁾ was born 1888.

110 v. Helen Earnest⁽¹⁴⁰⁾ was born 1894.
