2. Thomas² Berry (James¹)⁽²⁾ was born in Lancaster, Pa, Us 1718. Thomas died December 16, 1798.

He married twice. He married Mary Buchanan about 1738. Mary was born before 1738. He married Esther Mcclure before March 16, 1757. Esther was born 1730. Esther died 1822.

Thomas Berry and Mary Buchanan had the following children:

5 iii. Thomas Berry⁽⁴⁾ was born in , Pa, Us about 1742. His body was interred in New Providence C, Blount, Tn, Us.

6 iv. William Berry⁽⁵⁾ was born in , Pa, Us about 1744. He married Mary Mcspadden.

+ 7 v. Barbara Berry was born 1749.

Thomas Berry and Esther Mcclure had the following children:

8 vi. Elizabeth Berry⁽⁶⁾ was born in Augusta, Va, Us about 1754. She married James Harris.

9 vii. George Berry⁽⁷⁾ was born in Augusta, Va, Us June 28, 1756. George died 1829. He married Elizabeth Lowery.

+ 10 viii. Susannah Berry was born October 2, 1757.

11 ix. Rebeckah Berry⁽⁸⁾ was born in Rockbridge, Va, Us about 1759. She married Caleb James Litton.

12 x. John Berry⁽⁹⁾ was born in Rockbridge, Va, Us about 1760. He married Jane Temple.

13 xi. Francis Berry⁽¹⁰⁾ was born about 1762. He married twice. He married Nancy Berry. He married Sarah Oliver.

14 xii. Esther Berry⁽¹¹⁾ was born April 13, 1770. Esther died December 22, 1811 at 41 years of age. She married David Mccord December 8, 1795.
