8. Joel³ Benham (William², John¹)⁽¹³⁾ was born May 11, 1806. Joel died September 1889 at 83 years of age.

He married Sarah "Sallie" Hilton January 4, 1838. Sarah was born July 10, 1815. (Additional notes for Sarah "Sallie" Hilton⁽¹⁴⁾) Sarah died July 20, 1876 at 61 years of age.

Joel Benham and Sarah "Sallie" Hilton had the following children:
