He married Emily Elizabeth Kendrick in Scott, VA, US, November 12, 1862. Emily was born in Scott, VA, US June 5, 1835. Emily(23) was the daughter of George Henry Kendrick and Elizabeth Fuller. Emily died October 3, 1913 at 78 years of age.

Augustus Washington Aston Rev. and Emily Elizabeth Kendrick had the following children:

+ 12 i. William Henry³ Aston was born May 11, 1865.

13 ii. Sarah Elizabeth "Bettie" Aston⁽²⁴⁾ was born August 3, 1867. Sarah died August 14, 1938 at 71 years of age. She married Edwin Marcellus Kennedy. (Additional notes for Edwin Marcellus Kennedy(25))

14 iii. Mary Emily "May" Aston⁽²⁶⁾ was born March 25, 1872. Mary died June 20, 1958 at 86 years of age.

15 iv. Augustus White "Gus" Aston⁽²⁷⁾ was born July 21, 1874. Augustus died September 14, 1943 at 69 years of age.
